Claire O'Malley is from The Neale, County Mayo. After she left her classroom duties she joined Ballinrobe Writers Group. Always interested in children's literature, she has published four children's books.  

When not writing, Claire is walking the surrounding countryside with her little dog.  She of course loves reading, and pottering about in the garden.
